I believe it's essential to know about an advisor's expertise, experience and qualifications, but I think it's also important to know what motivates me to do what I do with such passion and commitment. Click on this link to learn a little bit more about why I'm so driven to help women enjoy financial independence and experience financial security.

I've served in leadership roles as president of the Financial Planning Association's Connecticut Valley Chapter and on the executive boards of the Planned Giving Group of Connecticut and the Connecticut Estate & Tax Planning Council. I've also been a member of the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving's Professional Advisory Committee and the Estate & Business Planning Council of Hartford.

My husband and I live in Simsbury and we're always looking forward to visits with our Washington, DC-area based son. Scrabble, thought-provoking documentaries and all kinds of music and good writing are among my interests outside of work, and one of my favorite things to do is play the Great Highland bagpipes. A local farmer is kind enough to let me practice in his fields anytime because as he put it, “Keeps the deer away.”

Penny Nasiatka

Penny manages all things back office at planningWISE Wealth with the operations expertise and smoothness that only someone with 35 years of experience in financial services can possess. In addition to her Series 7, 55, 65 and 63 securities licenses, she also holds the Series 24 and 53 principal licenses. Having seen it all over the course of her career – good markets, bad markets, bull runs and meltdowns – she has cultivated a deep sense of perspective and patience. She has a calm, steady hand and an easy-going manner, and an abundance of good sense. When she’s not at work, Penny enjoys the outdoors and can often be found keeping up with her beautiful gardens alongside her husband. They have two dogs who also love spending time in the gardens, but mostly because it's where they bury their chew toys.

Leslie Archambault

Leslie is committed to providing exceptional behind the scenes administrative support, and her meticulous eye for detail and her finely honed technical skills are evident in everything she does for planningWISE Wealth. She has over 20 years of experience in financial services and holds Series 7, 63 and 65 securities licenses. Leslie is the consummate team player, whether coordinating projects or just making sure all the bases are covered. Her warm personality, can-do attitude and sense of humor bring out the best in everyone around her. Outside of work, Leslie enjoys being with her family, which includes her husband and their two very lively and adorable young children. She also keeps up an active cross-training regimen, much to the awe and envy of her friends and colleagues.
